Product Highlights

The Alternative Asset Management Policy® covers all directors, officers, employees, trustees, and members of a fund’s Board of Managers or management committee for claims arising out of the performance of their duties to funds, insured organizations and separately managed accounts including the selection and oversight of outside service providers. The policy also covers private equity, venture, and other private funds for claims arising from the organization, capitalization, and operation of the funds as well as provides employment practices liability coverage.

  • Outside directorship liability coverage.
  • Fiduciary liability coverage.

  • No exclusions in base policy form for excessive fees, investment banking services, or counter party failure to settle any transaction.
  • Coverage for damage, destruction, or loss of client/investor records.
  • A manuscript policy form may also be available upon request.

Submission Guidelines

All Coverages

  • Most recent audited financial statements (if available).
  • Due Diligence Questionnaire (if available).
  • Senior management biographical information.
  • Most recent audited financial statements and quarterly reports to investors for each Fund.
  • Most recent offering memorandum and partnership agreement.
  • Complete schedule of all open proceedings regarding actual or alleged violations of securities laws, employment laws, antitrust, copyright or patent laws (including but not limited to claims alleging tortious interference with contracts and misappropriation of trade secrets) or any governmental, regulatory or administrative proceeding or investigation involving your Portfolio companies. Include details such as the party bringing the action, the forum and venue, and basic allegations underlying the matter. (New Buyer Applicants only).

Fiduciary

  • Copy of Form 5500 for each Plan.
  • Audited financial statements with investment portfolios for each plan.
  • Plan descriptions and financial statement for any non-qualified plans.
