What is Transactional Risk?
Transactional Risk Insurance is designed to address risks that arise during mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and other corporate transactions. These specialized solutions can help facilitate negotiations and provide protection against identified financial and tax-related exposures. By shifting certain risks from the transaction parties to an insurance policy, transactional risk insurance can help accelerate deal timelines, reduce the need for escrow or indemnity obligations and provide greater certainty before and after closing.
