Range of Coverage

We underwrite a broad range of primary, full value and excess of loss structures – with a preference for primary layers. We are able to provide coverage for a broad
range of peril types including:

• All Risks.
• FLEXA only.
• Named Perils.
• NAT CAT only.

Excess layer appetite is occupancy specific e.g. we do not write excess of loss composite panel risks.

Primary Clients, Sectors and Regions

We underwrite a worldwide Direct and Facultative portfolio excluding the U.S.; although we can consider incidental U.S. exposures, where part of a non-U.S. domiciled multi-territory risk, or non-U.S. buy outs of a USA domiciled insured.

We are a recognised open market lead with strong technical knowledge across a diverse range of occupancies and geographies (including the UK). Occupancies range from offices, hotels and municipality risks through to risk managed, higher hazard operational risks. We can also underwrite business in heavily NAT CAT exposed territories.

We underwrite Delegated Authority business, primarily in Canada and Australia, with a focus on building long term relationships with our Coverholders where we can optimise the underwriting.
