We are thrilled to announce that Arch Insurance Australia has been named the 2024 Insurance Business ‘5-Star Diversity, Equity & Inclusion’ award for the third year in a row.

Arch Insurance Australia priorities diversity and inclusion across all aspects of its organisation, striving to reflect the communities and markets it serves through its workforce.

“Successful DE&I initiatives come from the employees themselves,” says Oriana Korban, senior HR business partner. “How the employees and customers view the business is valuable to us. The appetite and interests of what is important to individuals have been changing. DE&I is an ever-evolving initiative, and successful businesses regularly assess what their employees and clients value.”

At the same time, Arch aims to lead by example by promoting diversity and inclusion among customers and stakeholders. This all-encompassing approach has led to the organisation’s repeated recognition as a 5-Star DE&I Employer in 2022, 2023 and 2024 by Insurance Business Australia. “The importance of being an inclusive employer is getting more visibility in the marketplace,” says Korban. “The current generation values inclusion, equity, support, and education about diversity much more than in previous years. We are committed not only to cultivating being an inclusive employer but also to advancing the way we approach diversity and inclusion.”
