Arch Insurance Australia (Arch) is pleased to announce the expansion of its in-house claims services into Accident & Health (A&H). Effective immediately, all A&H renewals and new business policies will have their claims handled in-house.

Commenting on this development, Tainui McGregor, First Party and Claims Operations Manager, said: “I’m delighted to be expanding our suite of claims services in line with our growth in A&H. The move to bring our claims management for this line of business in-house reflects Arch’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a comprehensive and streamlined end-to-end service for our brokers and clients. Brokers will see service delivered more seamlessly, with fast-track processes and ownership of claims from end to end being key deliverables. I am confident that we will deliver the same levels of high-quality claims service that has earned us industry recognition across our existing lines of business.

Jarrod O’Connor, Accident & Health Underwriting Manager, added: “Bringing our claims capabilities in-house is an exciting step in the growth of A&H at Arch. Our claims platform will not only provide more extensive reporting and analytics that we can share with our brokers but will also be a key underwriting tool for insights to ensure we are providing the best solutions for our customers. The team have a wealth of knowledge, and I’m excited to be working with them closely as we continue to grow our relevance with our brokers.”
