Chief Underwriting Officer, Casualty and Surety | United States

Rich Stock serves as Chief Underwriting Officer, Casualty and Surety for Arch Insurance Group Inc. He was promoted in December 2022 from Chief Underwriting Officer for Large Accounts Casualty and Surety, a position he held since October 2018. Prior to this, he served as EVP of Construction, National Accounts and Excess Workers’ Compensation and, before that, SVP of Alternative Markets. Before joining Arch in 2005, he held a number of financial, actuarial and underwriting related roles at Zurich North America and Travelers. Rich has a B.S. in Mathematics and Accounting from St. John’s University. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and is a Certified Public Accountant.
