Chief Underwriting Officer, P&C and Alwyn Europe Divisions, Arch Insurance (EU) Dac | EU

Matthew Brophy has served as Chief Underwriting Officer, P&C Division since January 2020. In December 2023, he expanded his role to include Chief Underwriting Officer of the Alwyn Division.

He holds an Msc. Quantitative Finance from the Michael Smurfit School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Trinity College in Dublin. He’s also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
