James Barrett is Deputy Active Underwriter, Syndicate 2012, and Head of Speciality Casualty for Arch Insurance International. Previously, he was Head of Healthcare. Barrett joined Arch following the acquisition of Barbican, where he was Head of Healthcare. He has also worked for Swiss Re, Chaucer Syndicates and PYV. Barrett has a bachelor’s degree in Politics from the University of Southampton and is a Fellow of The Chartered Insurance Institute.
