Dennis Matthews is line of business head and has 38 years of experience in the insurance industry. He underwrites an Accident & Health portfolio of Direct and Facultative London Market business and currently sits on the LMA Personal Accident Business Panel.

Dennis joined Arch from QBE Europe where he was the Senior Personal Accident Underwriter responsible for the underwriting and management of the D&F PA account. Prior to joining QBE in 1999 Dennis held underwriting roles at Duncanson and Holt Europe and Equity Red Star Syndicate 218. Dennis began his career at M J Harris Syndicate 947 in 1982 where he worked as a claims adjuster before moving into the role of Personal Accident and Travel Underwriter.
