Amelia Valz is the Senior Vice President of Construction Specialty Products for Arch, with direct responsibility for the Subcontractor Default Insurance line of business. She is responsible for management and growth of the product as well as maintaining key client and brokerage relationships. Prior to joining Arch, Amelia worked in various national and regional leadership roles for Willis Towers Watson, XL Catlin and Zurich America. Amelia holds a B.B.A in finance from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business in Austin, Texas. She is also a graduate of the Swiss Re Advanced Engineering Program, a licensed P&C broker in all 50 states and has completed her construction risk and insurance specialist certification.
