News

Arch Insurance International is excited to announce the launch of our new Pursuing Better Together podcast series.

For us at Arch, Pursuing Better Together is all about collaboration, responsiveness and a genuine commitment to raising the bar. Throughout this new series of podcasts, we talk to luminaries from both inside and outside the industry about what “Pursuing Better Together” means to them and how they have risen to the top within their chosen professions.

Available in both full-length and bitesize versions, the episodes not only share captivating stories but offer practical advice and expert tips to help listeners ‘pursue better’ in their personal and professional lives.

Our first two episodes are:

Episode 1: The importance of vulnerability in leadership with Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE

Kate Richardson-Walsh is best known as the most capped female hockey player in British history, a Gold-medal winning captain of the GB women’s hockey team and a BBC broadcaster. During a candid discussion, Kate talks about the importance of vulnerability in great leadership and the cultural transformation that saw the GB women’s hockey team go from 2nd bottom in the World Championships to Olympic Champions in just 2 years.

Episode 2: The power of critical friends with Baroness (Tanni) Grey-Thompson DBE

Tanni Grey-Thompson is one of the UK’s most successful athletes, winning 11 Paralympic Golds and 6 London Marathons. She is also a Crossbench Peer in the House of Lords, TV personality, author and motivational speaker. In her trademark down-to-earth fashion, Tanni discusses the crucial role that ‘critical friends’ have played in her success and how fearing failure shouldn’t mean being afraid of putting yourself on the starting line.
