Michael Faulkner appointed to newly created role to drive business growth
Sydney, 7 May 2024 – Arch Insurance Australia has today announced the appointment of Michael Faulkner as Distribution & Engagement Lead, effective immediately.
In this newly created role, Faulkner will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with brokers in Australia and the Pacific region, creating business development opportunities for all product lines and driving distribution growth.
Based in Sydney, he will report to Dominic Brannigan, Regional Manager of Arch Insurance Australia, and will also work closely with Arch Insurance International’s Strategy and Distribution team in London, led by Simon Williams, Chief Strategy & Distribution Officer.
Faulkner has over 20 years’ experience working in Australia’s insurance industry in broking, underwriting and business development roles. He joins from Vero Insurance where he was most recently Strategic Relationship Manager, International and Strategic Commercial Partners. Prior to this, he was the Relationship Manager, Commercial Intermediaries at QBE Insurance Group.
