We have 4 terrorism underwriters in the team now. Myself, I’ve worked in the terrorism industry since September 11th, so 25 years.
So, we have really good capability within the team, and looking to expand that in 2026.
We really like working with brokers at scale, so portfolio transfer or ensure insurer consolidations. Those type of opportunities we have our property owners, we have our commercial combined each of those policies we have the opportunity to add terrorism as an extension to that policy.
So, we are the insurer, a lot of our competitors MGAs. So it means, you know, we’re the opportunity or scales there, we can partner with that broker, maybe give them some kind of authority to run that kind of small, medium sized business more efficiently.
If a referral comes in, we’ll probably be looking to get that back within two to four hours, if it’s a simple one.
If it’s slightly more complex, then we might have to seek information from other systems, or we’ll say it’s something like a large schedule or a complex risk.
So, we’ll try and collaborate with the brokers, you know, work in the best way that suits all parties and keep the whole process efficient.
