Mike Bottle

Managing Director, UK Regional Division | UK Regional Division

Mike started his career with the Kiln group in 1988, working for Syndicate 510 as an underwriter in the Accident & Health department. When the Motor Syndicate 603 merged with Syndicate 510, Mike was made a Director of both Link Insurance Services and Link Underwriting Agency.

Mike left Kiln in 2005 and set up Axiom Underwriting Agency, writing UK Property and A&H business, on behalf of Kiln and Munich Re and more recently Arch. He also acquired Thomas Underwriting Agency, which specifically focused on Commercial Property.

Mike eventually sold both Agencies to Arch in 2019 and as a result of this and other acquisitions made by Arch in the UK, Mike took up a role overseeing the strategy and distribution of the newly formed UK Regional Division.
